Perspiration Diagnosis

This is the analysis of excess water that is eliminated through the integumentary system. Body odor is the presence of bacteria or result of fats clogging the inner and outer skin.

Excessive sweating in some parts of the body, especially the palm of the hands, is caused by erratic nerve conductivity in the extremities and outer skin. In hilot tradition, this is called pasma.

Hyperthyroidism is manifested by profuse sweating, high metabolism, and erratic body temperature. Profuse sweating and perspiration is the body’s effort to cool itself.
